-4God visited Sarah exactly as he said he would; God did to Sarah what he promised: Sarah became pregnant and gave Abraham a son in his old age, and at the very time God had set. Abraham named him Isaac. When his son was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him just as God had commanded.
How encouraging is it to hear, "God did to Sarah what he promised?" Wow that blows me away!

ReplyDeleteGenesis 12:1 -20
When ever I hear the story of Abram in Egypt, it seems to focus on Abram deceiving the Egyptians to believe that Sarai was his sister, not his wife. This time I viewed it as God giving Abram a peek at the land that his decedents will occupy.
Genesis 15
Reference - Gen 15:1-5,13-14

Then, God tells him (Abram) that his heir will come from his own body and that he will have decedents.
